When I was designing the frame for this painting I was startled by the power of the feelings that I felt while looking at it. At that moment I wasn't looking at it with the critical eye of the artist and instead was transported to the chapel of the church in which I grew up and I felt an overwhelming sense of timelessness and calm. - Jane Jones
