Li River in Fall Color
“The Li Jiang River stretches eighty-three miles long from Guilin to Yang Shuo like never-ending scrolls of landscape paintings,” says artist Mao Yigang, “with sparkling clear water in the midst of floating mist and rolling clouds. The wonderful sight of the water running in union alongside the mountains in such a spectacular harmony commands admiration. I sincerely hope that we care for nature so that its beauty will last. Nature is the best healer for the broken hearts of city dwellers.”
