As an avid skier with a great love of downhill racing, I wanted to paint a piece that expressed the grandeur and beauty of skiing dowhill at speeds well over 60 miles per hour. There are times when you just can't go fast enough - adrenaline fuels desire, and you reach a point when the thrill overpowers all and any fear of wiping out. In all my work, I strive to capture the feeling of the moment; here, I wanted to express the unexplainable rush that devours you the faster you clip down the hill. - Bradley Parrish
