One of Carl Brenders’ biggest fears is that in his lifetime it could be possible that he will witness the extinction of the most beautiful cat in the wild. “As a child,” he says, “I never knew about extinction. I thought that everything would be there forever. Dreams about big, wild animals in the jungle were always in my head. But every new life in the wild brings hope for this, the most wonderful predator on the planet.”
