Little Sioux
Children enjoy themselves regardless of race, creed, or location. They always seem to find mutual grounds to strike up a game or other form of fun. This Little Sioux girl was no exception. Shortly after arriving at an Inter-Tribal Ceremonial, she quickly made friends with the Navajo, Hopi, Cheyenne, and Zuni children.
As part of their ceremonial activities, this "Little Sioux" was all dressed up in her best beads, feathers, and furs for a baby contest. She won first place in her division. Her parents had taken great pride in dressing her in the Sioux traditional custom.
From the looks of her, she will always be a winner.
