A cold morning in the north country, the landscape blanketed by an early winter snow and the woodland bison beginning their slow, laborious journey to winter pastures: a perfect setting. It's a long downhill descent for these stately creatures but instinct tells them their only hope of survival lies in seeking lower ground.
