If a polar bear is a dangerous animal, it becomes really dangerous when it has cubs; but if there is no danger to the young, one cannot imagine a more peaceful mother. In "Mother of Pearls", I wanted to have the feeling of being part of that family, close to that big, soft, wild mother. - Carl Brenders
