One evening, while on the Turket Foot Lake in Akron, Ohio, artist John Weiss saw a family on their boat and the image really stuck with him. Musing on the subject of family relationships and making memories, he remembered a time when his own father rented a row boat and took John and his brother fishing. The result of this inspiration is "Preparing for the Feast," a wonderfully backlit image of a father and son fishing with their faithful Golden Retriever.
