Warm and Fuzzy
I was out shopping with my son, David, when he saw these two bears in a store and said, "Look, Mommy! That's Daddy and me!"
He wanted me to buy these bears so much, and so I did. My son has played with them ever since, taking them to bed, posing them in different positions and imagining all sorts of adventures for them to have.
One day, he had them propped up on his bed, and as I walked by and saw them, I thought, "Wow! That would make a nice painting!" That was the inspiration for "Warm & Fuzzy".
Ordinarily, with little ones, you think that you're doing all the teaching and all the giving because you're the adult. But more and more, I am finding that my children have a lot to teach me, and that children give you just as much as you give them.
